There is a promising opportunity for new customers as well as long time investors. Chase Bank is offering its customers a $100 bonus when they decide to open a checking account at any of their branches nationwide. With a Chase Bank account, you will be able to enjoy the great accessibility offered by their 15,000 ATMs nationwide. You can also take advantage of the mobility offered by Chase Bank through their online banking. You can even access your account through your mobile phone!
Below are the requirements to get the $100 bonus:
- A minimum deposit of $100 must be made to open the account. It should be new money deposited into the new checking account made at any Chase Bank branch and not money that is from any other Chase Bank account or any of its affiliates.
- The account holder must either setup a monthly electronic direct deposit or make at least five debit card purchases within 60 days of account opening.
If these requirements are met within 60 calendar days, Chase Bank will deposit the $100 bonus into the new checking account of the customer within 10 business days. Please note that the $100 bonus given by Chase Bank will not be counted as part of the minimum deposit required by the bank to open the account.
A call to Chase verified that if there are not at least 5 debit purchases or a direct deposit made in the account every month, a $6 service charge will be incurred.
This offer will not be available for existing Chase Bank checking account customers. Only one new checking account can be opened per customer and the $100 bonus can only be given once per customer for every calendar year. This offer should not be used in conjunction with another promo of Chase bank or any of its affiliates. The checking account that the customer opened for this offer should be active for at least six months. Should it remain idle and have no existing activity, Chase Bank will deduct the $100 bonus upon cancellation of the checking account.
This $100 bonus offer for opening a new checking account is only available until September 30, 2010.
